About Us
Hogar Infantil started in 1970 in the old location of 37-41 Mill St., in Paterson, NJ as Latin American Day Care Center. The name was changed to Hogar Infantil, and we moved to our present facilities at 560-566 Main Street in Paterson, NJ.
Our Story
At its inception, Hogar was the first bilingual-bicultural Day Care in Paterson, and the second oldest Day Care in the City.
In 1998 after the State instituted the Abbott mandate for preschool students (3 and 4 years old), Hogar partnered with the Paterson Public Schools and have been offering preschool instruction with a state certified curriculum through the Department of Education. We use Creative Curriculum and Teaching Strategies to instruct and assess our preschool program.
Hogar has consistently been in the top percentile of preschools in Paterson. With 54 years of history and experience, we find ourselves teaching the sons/daughters and grandchildren of students who have come through our program
Our Services

Free Preschool Program
Our free preschool program begins at 8:00AM and ends at 3:00PM. During this time we provide free breakfast, lunch, and snack that is prepared on site.

Before & After Care Availibility
We also provide before and after care starting at 7:00AM and ending at 5:00PM. We accept 4Cs but you can also pay privately if you wish.
